Lowrys has been operating throughout the Northern Territory and the Kimberly/Tanami region of Western Australia for a period in excess of 35 years. Lowrys is a local Darwin office employing approximately 20 professional and support staff, including 2 Chartered Accountants and 2 Certified Practicing Accountants. Lowrys is able to work with today’s business owners and managers to provide proactive advice and solutions to issues. Lowrys provides a wide range of services, including audit, and is able to provide clear, achievable, and specific assistance to offer the best approach to business problems and challenges that impact the financial direction of businesses.

Audit Partner, Registered Auditor Number 7202
Colin boasts a comprehensive background in accounting, taxation, audit, and consulting. His illustrious career includes a 25-year tenure as a partner at Ernst and Young, a Big 4 national accounting and audit practice, before assuming control of Lowrys Audit. Colin’s professional credentials include being a Fellow of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, a Registered Company Auditor, and a Registered Tax Agent. As a Director at his Darwin-based audit practice, Colin leverages his extensive network to deliver timely advice, reinforcing his reputation for proactive guidance. His role as an authorised Northern Territory Auditor-General’s auditor for Lowrys Audit underscores his ongoing commitment to excellence in audit representation.

Bill began auditing in 1999 with EY and has been with AMW Audit since 2003 and Director since 2007. Bill has worked with clients in a variety of industries, including Local Government, Superannuation funds, Manufacturing, Co-operatives and Not-For-Profits. Bill is the Chairman of the Board and is ultimately responsible for AMW Audit.
Audit Manager
Rhenard, a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the Philippines and an Associate Member of Certified Practising Accountant in Australia. His career began at Deloitte & Touche in the Philippines, following his 2007 bachelor’s degree in Accounting and successful CPA board exam completion. Rhenard then spent over a decade at Ernst & Young (EY) in Saudi Arabia, progressing to the role of Senior Manager. Relocating to Darwin in 2022, he joined Lowrys Audit. Rhenard also serves as an authorised Northern Territory Auditor-General’s auditor for Lowrys Audit, showcasing his commitment to maintaining high audit standards.
Senior Auditor
Shanika, a Certified Practising Accountant (CPA) in Australia and a fellow member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) UK, brings nine years of auditing expertise to Lowrys Audit. Commencing her career at KPMG in Sri Lanka, as an Internal Auditor before pursuing higher education in Brisbane. After completing her Master’s in Professional Accounting in 2020, Shanika joined Lowrys Audit as an External Auditor in Darwin. Additionally, Shanika serves as an authorised Northern Territory Auditor-General’s auditor, further enhancing Lowrys Audit’s audit capabilities.
